Climate-friendly into the future!

The apartment buildings with a total of 74 residential units are located in Schafheidestraße in the Magdeburg suburb of Biederitz. The apartment buildings are designed as two-storey buildings with a flat roof. The residential units on the upper floors have covered patios or balconies to the rear of the building, which create a light, playful look thanks to their delicate steel balustrades and discreet dividing elements. The front façades are visually broken up with wooden elements.

The buildings are constructed in accordance with the KFW EH40 QNG Plus standard – currently the most climate-friendly type of residential building construction in Germany. Energy-efficient houses built to this standard consume a maximum of 40 percent of the energy of a conventionally constructed building of the same size. The residential units are heated by central heat pumps with underfloor heating, which guarantee an optimum energy balance and ensure consistently pleasant temperatures in every season via thermostat control. This type of heating guarantees maximum living comfort and low heating costs at the same time and guarantees an excellent investment with maximum increase in value.
